Foundations Session

Duration: 1 hour

First time swingers begin here*. This is an introductory course where you will learn how to use kettlebells safely and effectively. We will teach you the proper technique for the six basic kettlebell exercises swing, clean, press, squat, snatch, Turkish get-up, preparing you to take all other classes at KOR.

We have awesome members, great services, and fun classes!

*Must take a Foundations Session before any other classes.

Condition (Circuit)

Duration: 1 hour

Grab a towel, you’re gonna sweat! You will begin each class with a unique set of mobility and stability drills to prepare your body. From there you will pick up the pace with some high-intensity interval sets – a deliberate sequence of exercises that allows you to keep moving and maximize your work capacity.

This is not an advanced movement class, but be prepared to work hard and fast. Your trainer will provide appropriate adjustments to ensure you have a safe and effective workout at any level of fitness.

Kettlebell

Duration: 30 minutes

This class provides a high intensity yet low impact solution to losing body fat and gaining strength. By quickly transitioning from one kettlebell exercise to the next, this class blends strength, flexibility and power to give you an efficient workout to burn calories and build lean muscle. Fusion Friday

Duration: 45 minutes

Best of both worlds!

We combined our Friday evening classes into one Fusion Friday from 5:00-5:45pm. This class is a fun 45 minute workout with a fusion of kettlebells with strength training and metabolic conditioning exercises to finish it off.

Kettlebell Sport

Duration: 30 minutes to 1 hour

The only kettlebell sport facility in San Diego!

Competitive kettlebell lifting, originating in Russia, has been proven to build strength endurance, stamina and mental toughness through longer sets of a single exercise. High volume work outs will require you to be efficient and focused while staying relaxed under load. The traditional exercises include: Clean and Jerk (Long Cycle), Jerk, and Snatch. As your technique improves, the goal is to use heavier weights, complete more reps and/or go for longer sets. Train with Team KOR for an awesome work-out or practice towards your first competition. This session is an open format. A coach will be present to guide you through the posted workout at your own pace. Can be modified for any level.

Mobility class is intended as a recovery session to increase flexibility, mobility and range of movement. This counterbalances strength and conditioning exercises and may vary in focus with regard to different body parts each week.
