You gave selflessly in growing, laboring, birthing and nurturing your baby. Now it’s time to give back to the body that gave so much. Repair, reconnect and regain your strength with other moms who are relearning strength training with their evolving bodies. Babies welcome!
Coach Robin Taylor is a certified Pre/Post Natal Corrective Exercise Specialist and Diastasis & Core Consultant. She is passionate about working with mothers to learn/relearn their strength!
I was excited to meet Robin when she joined KOR because I was looking for a trainer who can help me exercise correctly and in a way that would help me be a strong mama during and after labor. With Robin’s help, I was able to feel my core again. I had lost all connection and frankly, didn’t know it was something I can have again while pregnant. I used all the breathing and core connection techniques Robin trained me on during labor and avoid unnecessary drugs and interventions. I took my time recovering post natal and was ready to start rebuilding my core and overall strength after 6 weeks. Robin was there to help me and I couldn’t express more gratitude. I am now 6 months post natal and no longer have diastisis, can engage my core and have a strong pelvic floor. There’s still more work to be done, but I love how quickly I was able to recover and feel like myself again.I have been telling all my mom group friends to come try Robin’s “Bad Mama Jama” with me because she is hands down, the best. If you’re thinking of starting back with yoga or stroller strides or any other activity, I would make sure they are trained in diastisis rehab like Robin is because it is easy to make the problem worse. Also, the separation in your abdomen that is natural after childbirth does not fix itself. I’m so glad Robin has been trained to help new moms! She’s also a mom of two and “gets it”! I bring my baby to class, get a good sweat, work on my core in the right way, have fun with other moms… what more could I ask for?!Thank you, KOR and Robin!
